About the Band

Triaum is the brainchild of three percussionists who come from different walks of life but share a common language of rhythm. While performing in their respective fields, they had always believed that different genres of music could come together to form new age world music which could transcend linguistic, cultural and social barriers. The relationship between the band’s values and its music is a powerful one; self-respect, respect for their instruments and their music and respect for each other have influenced their compositions.

Philosophy

The philosophy of Triaum is to incorporate elements of melody into those of rhythm and to bring together various world percussion instruments on a common platform and present the variations and combinations possible. Triaum lays special emphasis on the tonal quality of the instrument as well as the original genre or the style of performing.
